Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi, an idyllic heaven of old charms is located on one of the finest beaches in Langkawi set in a 30 acres of lush, tropical greenery. It is traditionally inspired and architecturally designed like a Malaysian village or ‘kampung’ concept that dates back hundred of years. The intricately carved wooden chalets are built by timber – a truly reminiscent of days gone by.

Accommodations

Inspired and designed after the style of a traditional Malay village, Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi's architecture was conceptualised to blend in with the environment. Characteristically raised on stilts, they feature sloping roofs, exposed roof tiles, trusses and a private balcony. Enter into a world of casual simplicity where each chalet belies the luxurious traditional charm quality within. Elegantly furnished in soft, pastel colours, each guestroom is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities while the lighting creates a soft, cosy ambience. To enhance further the character of the wooden room interior, natural textured material such as sisal carpet panels and nyatoh flower motifs have been added to the wall as decorative pieces.

Restaurants & Bars

Spice Market Restaurant - Is the premier restaurant in the resort. Located in the main resort complex at the lobby area, it is built from timber with rugged wooden beam ceilings, ceiling fans and subtle lighting. Along its walls are small alcoves with antique handicrafts and a variety of spices in jars, showing off Malaysia’s rich culture.
Niyom Thai Restaurant - The aroma of tantalising Thai dishes will tease and tempt your palate. Also located at the main resort lobby area with an overview of the beautiful Horizon Swimming Pool, the restaurant is frequently patronised by guests with a penchant for exotic Thai cuisine.
Tepian Cenang BBQ Restaurant & Fun Pub - Raised on a platform about a metre above ground level as well as with small wooden platforms nearby the sea, this outlet serves popular BBQ delights for dinner and seats 200 people comfortably surrounding an original fisherman boat transformed into a bar. Opens daily from 7pm to 11pm. You will be entertained with lively music by our resident band and for sports lovers, pool tables, darts, foosballs and sports satellite TV channels are also available.
Pelangi Lounge Bar - Serves a wide range of liqueur, coffee specialties, scrumptious snacks, selection of tapas, flambé desserts, ice-cream delights and a variety of alternative in-house cocktails for guests’ selection.
Horizon & Cascade Pool Bars - Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi offers two open-air free form swimming pools with island bars as well as jacuzzis and children’s pool. The Horizon is a stone’s throw away from the beach with a panoramic view of the surrounding islands, while Cascade is intimately tucked away the landscaped garden grounds surrounded by the chalets. Cascading water provides soothing and relaxing sound effects while you laze around the pool.

Activities

Families with young children need not worry as the resort has baby-sitting service as well as a colourful and nicely furnished children’s KiKi Klub. Children aged between 4 to 12 years old are welcomed to join in the activities at no charge daily from 10am to 6pm. Fun activities include art and handicraft making, face painting, traditional games, fishing lesson & competition, swimming lesson, beach telefun, mini golf funtime and many more. You can also surrender yourself go the blissful and sheer indulgence of our luxury spa treatments at the Teratai Spa. Amongst the luxurious treatments offered are aroma body massage, Swedish, Thai and Indonesian Body massages, Therapeutic Hot Stone massage, foot massage, Yin & Yang Meridian Massage, manicure and pedicure treatments as well as variety of relaxing baths. Housed in a 46 sqm double storey chalet, it is located at an exclusive & secluded location in the resort.
Room rates include breakfast & sunset cocktail (5pm-7pm) at Meritus Club Lounge.

Compulsory 3rd Person Charge (Only for Meritus Club Room):
For any 3rd Person (adult/child) sharing a room, there will be a compulsory charge whether E/bed is taken or not. Refer E/Bed rate above.
This rate comes with rollaway bed (max-01), breakfast & sunset cocktail (5pm-7pm)

Child Policy:
