Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa houses 304 elegant and spacious guestrooms and suites, within which are 12 types of room categories, with sizes ranging from 42 to 242 square metres.
Most rooms and suites have breath-taking views of the sea, grounds and gardens and are facilitated with an in-room locker, data port for Internet and facsimile, IDD telephone with voice mail, satellite television with non-stop in-house movies, individually controlled air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facility, iron and ironing board, a stocked mini bar, non-allergic pillows and stationary. All Rasa Premier Rooms are complete with a bathtub on the balcony.

Restaurants & Bars

Spice Market Café - The Spice Market Café is a casual restaurant that offers authentic ethnic cuisines such as Malaysian, Indian, Nyonya, Chinese, Thai and International. This informal venue is right beside the unique free-form swimming pools under lush raintrees and is located adjacent to the Garden Wing Lobby.
Feringgi Grill - This award-winning continental restaurant is elegantly situated on the charming Mezzanine floor of Rasa Wing. This dining area gives a breath-taking view of the ocean, grounds and gardens of the resort. The wine cellar carries many unique vintages. An extensive cigar list is also available while an adjacent bar makes for an ideal place to relax before and after dinner.
Feringgi Bar - The Feringgi Bar is adjacent to the Feringgi Grill and makes for an ideal place to relax before and after dinner with cocktails and champagne. The Feringgi Bar features live entertainment.
Tepi Laut - Appropriately named for its intimate proximity to the shore. With its roof architecture resembling a palace of the ancient Malay Sultanate, this breezy outlet surrounded by swaying coconut trees is just 30 feet away from the lapping waves of the beach.
Pinang - This poolside bar offers al fresco dining at its finest. Located beside the beach, its picturesque timber decks extend to the rim of the swimming pool while overlooking the scenic stretch of Batu Feringgi beach. The best spot to be when the sun sets.
Lounge - On the fringes of the Garden Wing is an elegantly designed lounge that provides a refreshing meeting venue for casual conversation or to just relax on comfortable sofas over cocktails or afternoon tea.

Activities

Guided activities - light or adventurous - are conducted daily. These include jungle trekking, beach walks, nature walks and bird watching. Informative tours such as visits to nearby villages and traditional houses are also available. Within the Resort's 30 acres of lush gardens are three swimming pools, including a safe and fun children's pool, a Par-3 Executive Golf Course, a children's playground and floodlit tennis courts.

Garden Wing - Deluxe Seafacing : Rooms measure approximately 42 square metre, facing towards sea but with obstructed views of the sea.
Rasa Wing - Rasa Deluxe : Rooms measure approximately 38 square metres located on the ground floor, boast a private verandah & 26 sq metre of private garden providing direct access to the resort's expansive garden grounds & swimming pools.
Rasa Wing - Rasa Premier : Above ground floor is Rasa Premier rooms, 62 sq metre offer all the refinements of a suite in one spacious rooms, large shower rooms complete with elegant trimmings.  Unique to all is a relaxing tub on the balcony, only one of its kind in Penang, savour the view of the lush 30-acre gardens from the privacy of the balcony. This category is recommended for couples only. Children are not encouraged.
