No Orlando Holiday would be complete without a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort Florida theme parks. The spires of Cinderella's castle are familiar around the world as the symbol of The Magic Kingdom, Disney's original park in Lake Buena Vista. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is a whimsical place where storybook fantasy becomes everyday reality. Journey through seven themed lands incorporating more than forty attractions. NEW: Disney music meets Disney magic in the new 3-D "sym-funny", Mickey's PhilharMagic, starring Mickey, Donald and their friends. Gather most evenings for the new "Wishes" night time spectacular, as Jiminy Cricket narrates a story so big only the sky could hold it.

From world travel to wide-eyed excitement, a day at Epcot will set your spirits soaring. At the new “Mission: SPACE” attraction, you'll rocket through space on the most thrilling Disney attraction ever! On Test Track, experience high-speed excitement as you run a test car through its paces. Take a trip around the globe in World Showcase and enjoy the wonders of eleven festive nations. At night, cap it all off with the amazing laser and light spectacular,  “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth”.

At Disney’s MGM Studios you can take centre stage as the star of your own adventure. The world of showbiz comes alive; from rock 'n' roll fantasy to Broadway-style stage spectaculars; from the silver screen to the TV screen and behind the scenes. That's entertainment! Attractions include: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Fantasmic, Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage!, Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Disney's Animal Kingdom lets you experience wild adventures, thrilling attractions, dinosaurs, Disney characters, and spectacular shows. Walt Disney World Resort Florida’s fourth and largest theme park is comprised of 500 Central Florida acres of vast jungles, lush grasslands and rainforests, plus a savannah and dinosaur dig site. The park is home to more than 1,000 animals representing some 250 species.

Shopping excursions take on a whole different flavour at places like Downtown Disney. This entertainment, dining and shopping complex has something fun for everyone, with more than 70 shops, restaurants and clubs. It’s home to Pleasure Island, Cirque du Soleil, House of Blues, Planet Hollywood, World of Disney, Rainforest Cafe and Disney Quest.

The entertainment in Lake Buena Vista doesn't end at Disney's gates; guests will find everything from dining to shopping to sleeping qualify as amusements in this area. Restaurants with delectable cuisine from around the world can be found both inside and outside the area's theme parks. And it is not difficult to find the special brand of dining entertainment known as dinner theatre to delight young and old with shows, music, comedy, dancing and even medieval jousting as you eat.

Holidays in Florida also mean other theme parks.  Universal Studios Florida shares the movie-making theme of Disney-MGM Studios, but the attractions are presented quite differently. At Universal, promoters say you can "ride the movies." Some rides provide an entertaining look at famous movies of the past, such as "Kongfrontation," where guests meet King Kong on the New York subway. Jaws, Earthquake, Terminator 2: 3-D Battle Across Time and the works of Hitchcock are among the park's other movie attractions. Twister, a technological marvel, invites guests to experience the awesome live spectacle and destructive nature of an actual tornado, a mere 20 feet away.

Universal's newest park is Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Five islands, each with a distinct personality, offer something for everyone. Experience the bustling marketplace of Port of Entry, battles between good and evil on Marvel Super Hero Island, slapstick ruckuses at Toon Lagoon, prehistoric megalosaurs in Jurassic Park, mythical sorcerers on the Lost Continent, and fanciful revelry at Seuss Landing.

Visitors to Central Florida will want to explore natural attractions as well as fantastical ones, and SeaWorld is a wonderful place to start. Now guests can be Trainer for a Day, working alongside real SeaWorld animal trainers to learn training techniques, feeding, and show preparation. Attractions include the "Pacific Point Preserve," a sea lion and seal habitat which mimics the rocky, northern Pacific coastline; and "Manatees: The Last Generation?" an up-close look at the endangered sea cow. SeaWorld's newest attraction is Wild Arctic, which takes visitors on a chilling adventure to experience the natural beauty of the arctic. Visitors come face to face with real polar bears, walruses, harbour seals and beluga whales. The highlight of a visit to SeaWorld is the "Shamu: New Visions" show during which killer whales interact with trainers, defy gravity in breathtaking leaps; and make a big splash (and a wet audience!) with a flick of the tail and 52-degree water.
