Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi recreates a Chiang, a self contained city. Guests cross a moat to approach the vast central square, above which tower golden stupas and domes inspired by the architecture of Lanna. Traditional Thai homes, ornate palace-like structures and colonial mansions faithfully represent an architectural history of the diverse region which Lanna originally spanned. All is set amidst 60 acres of green natural surroundings. The result is some of the world’s most magnificent accommodation; restaurants praised for their authenticity and leisure facilities that provide an insightful cultural experience. But the soul of our resort is The Dheva Spa a wondrous space dedicated to relaxation and true healing.

Accommodations

Our resort offers the most astoundingly spacious accommodation. All our 123 suites and villas have separate sitting rooms and generously proportioned bathrooms often matching the bedrooms in size. In most of our villas you have private outdoor plunge pools and in many your own piano. Throughout we provide seamless technology including wireless internet and cord free phones. Consistently we offer an atmosphere of culture and calm, with the display of beautiful artifacts from our private collection amidst the welcome shroud of lush tropical greenery.

Restaurants & Bars

Farang Ses - Is a renowned establishment of French cuisine. Our chef contrives dishes that exude the heady aromas of the French countryside but remain light enough for the Thai mountain setting. The restaurant’s superior wine cellar stocks more than 300 of the world’s best labels and the most celebrated champagnes.
Fujian - Set over two floors with a spacious veranda overlooking the traditional Kad Dhara Shopping Village and private dining available for 2 to 50 guests. Fujian has a rich atmosphere decorated in a prosperous style with many rare pieces from our art and antiques collection. The cuisine also meets the finest tastes.
Le Grand Lanna - Beneath the sweep of rain trees, guests dine overlooking a mature tropical garden bursting with crested hibiscus, palms, orchids and pungent jasmine. Choose our terrace, cooled by mist-spraying fans or our air-conditioned salons decorated with art and antiques from around the region. Private dining is available for up to 30 guests.
Rice Terrace - Cocktails or champagne are served every evening on our Rice Terrace, just below our French restaurant Fareng Ses.
Loy Kham - From our al fresco setting you can enjoy panoramic views of the resort. Recline in the sun or retire to the shade and we’ll serve you cooling refreshments and fruit patters. In the evenings this becomes a magical spot with torchlight flickering over the still waters of our landscaped pool.
