The Retreat at Anantara Resort in Hua Hin is on the same idyllic beach as the fabulous Royal palace of Klai Kangwon, which translates, into the inviting promise 'Far From Worries'. The Retreat's clusters of traditional Thai villas, set village-style among lagoons of crystal water and lush, tropical gardens, should indeed transport you to Klai Kangwon. For those seeking luxury in a romantic hideaway, this is your journey's end. Although Hua Hin is far from the dazzling hustle and bustle of Bangkok, it has many smaller more tranquil attractions including the renowned silver shopping area of Naresdamari Road and Chomsin Road. The local fabric print is Kom Ma Phat and is available from a range of specialist shops on Petchkasem Road. Further, fun shopping can be had at the Hua Hin bazaar on Damnoenkasem Road. The Retreat at Ananatara Resort is just ten minutes from Hua Hin station, one hour by air from Bangkok. Flights can be arranged through the Resort from Bangkok International Airport to Hua Hin on a 12-seat Cesna run by the SGA company.

Accommodations

The village comprises even intimate clusters of Thai-style two-story "homes", each with its own separate identity, based on a garden theme, such as lotus flowers or palm trees. And each of our 162 rooms, spread out over 14 acres, has its own private terrace with garden or ocean views. The rooms provide pure comfort with teak-wood and rattan furniture, Thai silk bed spreads, and all the amenities of a luxury resort.

Loy Nam Pool Bar - Swim up or walk up pool bar serving full range of thirst quenching beverages. Opening hours: 07:00 - 19:00. Seats: 30.
Lagoon Pool Bar - Bar offering spa cuisine and light snacks with a full range of freshly squeezed juices and beverages. Opening hours: 9:00 to 18:00. Seats: 20.
Baan Thalia - The very best Italian cuisine served in style offering a selection of international wines. Relax in air-conditioned comfort and enjoy the first class service of our highly trained staff. Opening hours: 18:30 to 22:30. Seats: 50.
Rim Nam Thai Restaurant - Set outdoor under a sala by the pool, guests can experience the true flavours of Thai cuisine. Opening hours: 07:00 - 17:00 and 18:30 - 22:30
