Located on the northeast coast of Samui Island in the Gulf of Thailand, The Tongsai Bay is set in 25 acres of beautiful gardens and designed to blend harmoniously with the surroundings. This is the only luxury resort with a private beach in Samui. Sitting on a gentle slope leading to the beach, the all - suite Tongsai Bay has one of the world's best views in a setting that is as near to paradise as you are ever likely to encounter.

Accommodations

Every room offers great seaview. There are in total 87 rooms in a vast area of 25 acres of land. The Tongsai Bay offers 3 main types of accommodation namely the Beachfront Suites, the Cottage Suites and the Tongsai Grand Villas.
24 Beachfront Suites - in a 3-storeyed chalet-type building next to the swimming pool and the beach. Each suite (72sqm) has air-conditioned bedroom (36sqm) & open-air terrace (36sqm) with a secluded bathtub.
48 Cottage Suites - there are 40 with a secluded bathtub on the open-air terrace and 8 with with a bathtub in a private garden. Each cottage has air-conditioned bedroom & open-air terrace of 60, 68 or 78 sqm depending on their location.
15 Grand Tongsai Villas - are on the hillside facing a spectacular sea view of Tongsai bay. Each has an area of 135 sq. metres, divided into the open-air terrace and living area space of 81 sq. metres and the air-conditioned bedroom area of 54 sq. metres. The unique open-air terrace features a bar, a bathtub for bathing alfresco and a gazebo where guests could sleep outside if they wish (the hotel will provide a mosquito net). 

Restaurants & Bars

Chef Chom's Thai Restaurant - If you are looking for authentic Thai treats from all parts of Thailand, made with creativity, seasoned with love and served with smiles, you've got to be here. Each bite reveals the secret recipes inherited from the royal court. You would love our Pandanus King Prawns, Fish Satay or Beef Fillet in Panaeng Curry with home-made curry paste.
New Floor and Bar at Chef Chom’s Thai restaurant - The floor along the walkway of Chef Chom’s Thai Restaurant has been replaced with new tiles. The indoor part of the restaurant has also been redecorated. A wooden panel provides guests with more privacy.
The Butler's Restaurant - Amidst an intimate atmosphere and picturesque surroundings with a serenade of the sea, this is a restaurant where an exotic menu is originated day by day. Based on the concept of creating 'something different', we wish you to try our own 'fusion' and 'European cuisine' - Grilled Duck Breast in Pha-lo Sauce with fresh herbs from our own garden.
Floyd's Beach Bistro - Located on the only private beach in Ko Samui, Floyd's Beach Bistro is an open kitchen restaurant, resides Chef Tu, our 'King of the Wok', where actions, savoury smell and liveliness inspire your appetite. Our senior chefs specialise in stir-fries and noodles. Your favourite seafood is grilled to perfection. No matter it is fried, steamed or grilled, our chefs will spontaneously turn your desires into dishes.
The Bars - There are 2 bars at The Tongsai Bay, Floyd's Beach Bar and the Lobby Bar. Both of them have a good collection of liquors and spirits.
Coffee/Tea House - “Sip” – our newly-built coffee/tea house on the beach next to Floyd’s Beach Bistro.

Activities

Our Private Beach is 200 metres long and never gets crowded. The whole Tongsai Bay is yours. You can sunbathe in peace, no beach vendors, no stray dogs, and no passersby.
Our main, free form, swimming pool is right by the beach next to Floyd’s Beach Bistro and the Beachfront Suite Building. It is accompanied by a small Jacuzzi pool and a children’s wading pool.
Another half moon-shaped swimming pool is added above ‘Sip’ Internet Cafe. Children under 14 are not allowed in this area to keep the area tranquil and peaceful.
Management hosts a cocktail party twice a week
