Description / Location

The Outrigger Luana Waikiki draws vacationers and business travelers who value its proximity to Waikiki. The lobby features a huge framed mirror, fresh flowers, and cushioned seating; the mezzanine has three PCs with high-speed Internet access and a printer (surcharge for both).
The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Ala Moana Shopping Center, which houses a mix of designer boutiques such as Armani; national chains such as Sharper Image and Old Navy; gift shops, and international take-out food. It’s also a hub for Oahu buses.

Accommodations

The 217 rooms on 16 floors have 27-inch TVs, CD players, and mahogany-colored cabinetry and trim. Lamps feature bronze sculptures of a hula dancer and Duke Kahanamoku with his surfboard. Rooms with kitchenettes (microwave/convection oven, two-burner stove, compact refrigerator, coffeemaker, cook/tableware) or kitchens (four-burner stove, dishwashers, full-sized refrigerators) have counters of salt-and-pepper granite. All rooms also have complimentary high-speed Internet access and voice mail.
