Both business and leisure travelers appreciate the Hilton New York's 2006 completion of its $148 million redesign as well as its midtown location, which allows many guests to walk to Broadway theaters, Times Square, and Fifth Avenue shopping. The Fitness Club and Spa is an 8,000-square-foot facility offering cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, sauna and steam room, as well as specialized treatments including massages, facials, and nail services. Dining choices include Etrusca, the hotel’s fine-dining Italian restaurant, and New York Marketplace, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (buffets and à la carte). Bridges Bar - Manhattan's seven bridges provide the theme for this bar off the lobby, with murals of bridges and cables on the walls. Offers cocktails at the bar or oversized banquettes. Open evenings.

The Hilton’s 8,000 square-foot Fitness Club and Spa (surcharge) contains cardio machines, resistance equipment, free weights, and a selection of specialized massages, facials, body wraps and nail services. Located on the 5th floor overlooking midtown Manhattan, the facility also features a dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and locker rooms. Central Park, five blocks north, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's famed skating rink, four blocks south, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink.
