Accommodation

The Plaza 50 Hotel offers 209 guestrooms and suites in a 22-story building. Beds feature down comforters, throw pillows, and feather-down pillows, with a three-choice pillow menu available. Large desks come with ergonomic chairs, two-line cordless speakerphones, and high-speed Internet connections (surcharge). Suites have fully equipped kitchens. Guestrooms have compact refrigerators. Bathrooms contain shower/tubs and Aveda toiletries. Decor includes contemporary warm-wood furniture with stainless-steel accents, abstract art, and oversized silver-framed wall mirrors.

Restaurants & Bars

A Continental breakfast (surcharge) is provided each morning in the lounge. Complimentary coffee and tea are offered in the lounge from mid-morning to late night. Complimentary wine and cheese are served in the lounge Monday–Thursday evenings. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are numerous dining options within the surrounding area. Nearby restaurants: George O'Neill's, Steakhouse, La Maganette, Mint. George O'Neill's Steakhouse, adjacent to the hotel, offers room service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without extra charge for delivery.

Activities

The fitness center, open 24 hours, contains cardio machines, resistance equipment, free weights, and a television. Central Park, 13 blocks away, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating.
