Although it offers 650 guestrooms, Sheraton Manhattan Hotel has an intimate ambience. It's a destination for international travelers seeking proximity to theaters and for guests attending conferences at a partner hotel, the 1,750-room Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers across Seventh Avenue. An independent, complimentary health club in the hotel has a 50-foot, four-lane, indoor lap pool. The pool is located on the fifth floor, and in summer a sundeck furnished with complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas opens outside the pool. Room-service food/drink is available on the sundeck.

An independent health club includes a complimentary, indoor 50-foot four-lane lap pool. The pool is open 6 AM–10 PM Monday-Friday and 8 AM–8 PM Saturday-Sunday. Central Park, seven blocks north, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's skating rink, two blocks south, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink. Nearby athletic clubs offer swimming, racquet sports, and exercise classes. A golf driving range is located at Chelsea Piers 1.75 miles west of the hotel.
