This 27-floor hotel is connected by bridge to a popular Chinatown pagoda park. Favored by vacationers and business travelers alike, the hotel is centrally located and offers moderately upscale comforts, including a busy day spa. The lobby is the size of a football field, complete with a baby grand piano, plenty of soft-backed wooden chairs, and modern, Pacific Rim decor.

This hotel has 565 guestrooms, all decorated with green and gold fabrics and Asian art prints. Furnishings include dark wood headboards and armoires, comfortable armchairs with ottomans, and oversized desks. Rooms have views of either San Francisco Bay and historic Coit Tower, or of the downtown skyline and city beyond. 
  
Restaurants & Bars 
 
Benton's Café - Located on the hotel's 2nd floor, this brightly-lit restaurant has the casual feel of a refined cafeteria. The daily breakfast buffet offers hot and cold choices. Lunch and dinner focus on local favorites such as Wharf Bay shrimp, Dungeness crab cakes, North Beach pizzas, and grilled salmon, as well as American fare including New York steaks and center-cut pork chops. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
The Gold Coin Lounge - Separated from the lobby by a large screen, the Gold Coin serves cocktails and light fare along with happy-hour specials. The bar is marble-topped, with a large frosted cabinet, two televisions, and high-backed stools. Open every day from late afternoon until late night. Live entertainment on weekends.

Activities 
 
The hotel has an outdoor rooftop pool, 27 floors above the city, with views of the bay and downtown. Guests work out in a carpeted fitness center with a stationary bike, treadmill, and elliptical machine. The hotel's ground-floor spa, called Tru, provides face, body, and nail treatments as well as mud baths, massages, and sugar scrubs. The spa, with 11 treatment rooms, has a wall of windows along its entire length, offering natural light. The menu of signature treatments includes TruO2, a facial with pure oxygen blasts, and The Full Monty, an indulgent combination of face, hair, and body treatments with 100 minutes of massage. In addition to 9,000 feet of meeting and function space, the hotel provides a guests-only business center with fax, photocopier, printer, and computer. The 4th-floor fitness center has a view of the financial district.
