Things to do whilst on holiday
With the benefit of being comprised of 26 atolls with over 3000 coral reefs, you’ll be able to get a different diving spot every single day with minimal travel time. Whether you’re a pro or amateur, diving in the Maldives is suited for all levels of experience. However, the snorkelling is equally as impressive!
From June to September you’ll be able to experience some of the highest waves to reach this part of the Indian Ocean, with waves around 3 to 8 feet high. Remember that you need not bring your own equipment as every resort has a water sports centre providing equipment of all sizes.
To experience something truly original why not go on a night fishing excursion. A Maldivian night fishing trip begins just before sunset to explore the best location beside a reef. You’ll have local knowledge to guide your catches from the sea to the BBQ!

The weather in this part of the world is divided into two dominant seasons. You’ll either experience the dry season or the rainy season. The rainy season occurs roughly from May to November, while the dry season runs from January to April. It’s also widely held that between February and March travellers will encounter the regions most generous offering of sun.
