Kanuhura Resort Maldives, Maldives, opened in February 2000, is a luxurious five star hotel, offering the highest standard of accommodation, service and culinary experience. a well planned nationality mix gives the resort a truly international feel and brings together interesting people from diverse cultural backgrounds and various walks of life. Every effort has been made to retain the natural beauty of the island, and wherever possible, natural materials have been used. Spa Pavillion - This lavish setting with its gentle lights and tented exotic feel offers an extensive health and beauty centre, with separate amenities for men and women; aerobics, meditation and gym. workouts.
Land sports - Floodlit tennis courts and air conditioned squash courts with instructors for play or coaching,  table tennis and volley ball, Games room with billiards, table football, carom and darts.
Water sports - windsurfing,  sailing, waterskiing,  canoeing,  catamaran sailing and dolphin safari.  All equipment is s top quality and maintained to very high standards.
Diving - The underwater beauty of the Maldives is renowned.  The outer reef at Kanuhara drops to more than 1200m below sea level, offering an immensely rich marine life. In 10 - 60 mins. guests can reach more than 40 dive sites, among them 2 shipwrecks and a manta point.  Kanuhura's outer atoll location lies far from other resort sites and shipping routes, making it possible to enjoy the best and most exciting diving in the Maldives.
Library - books, c.d.s,  vcds and internet connections allow guests to retreat from the world or keep in touch.
