Komandoo, located 130 km north of Male International Airport, is an idyllic private island retreat in the Maldives, a haven of charm and elegance, only 100 metres wide and 500 metres long, with attractive sugar white sand banks on both ends. The transfer is a scenic 40 minute seaplane flight. Komandoo Island Resort opened in 1998 and offers spectacular accommodation. Komandoo Activities

Komandoo is located in one of the most interesting diving areas with 48 exclusive dive-sites within a one-hour boat ride. Komandoo Island is home to a spectacular house reef just steps away from your bungalows...the reef is home to colorful fish and coral, rays and sharks makiing it the perfect location to snorkel.

Water sports include canoes and windsurfing. Land sports include beach football, volleyball, table tennis and badmington.
