Meeru Island Resort, fondly known as Meeru by friends, offers a relaxing casual atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. A variety of water sports are available at the water sports centre at Meeru. Quality equipment is available for windsurfing. Catamarans, canoes and pedal boats are also available for your enjoyment and fun.

Its almost impossible to spend all your time in the water, so you'll find plenty to do on the land as well. At the resort there is a swimming pool, a tennis court, table tennis and football, and for those who prefer something more cerebral, a selection of board games is available for your enjoyment.

There are also many different excursions to take locally.  Full day trips to uninhabited islands and visits to local fishing villages just to name a few.  The Maldives are one of the best area’s on the planet for scuba diving and snorkelling, with local PADI courses on offer if you wish to learn.  Sports fishing are also a huge attraction and can be arranged locally.
