Resting on the border of one of the most beautiful beaches of white sand, more than one kilometre long, Ambre Resort & Spa will seduce you with its Mauritian architecture and its elegant thatched roofs. Protected by the coral reef, the turquoise lagoon is ideal for swimming and for all the water sports: scuba diving, canoe, windsurfing, water-ski, glass bottom boat trips… Here, the parents will spend peaceful holidays and the children are kings: designed for families, the hotel reserves the Kid’s Club for the youngest and the Club Ados for the adolescents. On the issue of well-being, the The Spa, balneotherapy centre, proposes complete fitness programmes. For the pleasure of your taste buds, the bar concocts delicious exotic cocktails, whereas the imagination of the four restaurants will compete to propose you different worldwide flavours; amongst which, of course, the Creole cuisine with its delicate spicy flavours. Finally, the evening entertainment will allow you to dance the well-known rhythms of the local music.

Ambre Resort & Spa Activities

Ambre Resort & Spa offers a number of sport activites such as a large swimming pool covering 500 m2, 2 floodlight courts (09h00 - 20h00), beach volley court, mini-foot on the beach, bowls, crazy golf, badminton, table tennis. For a local charge, the resort also offers other activities/facilities such as The Spa, scuba diving (PADI centre), mountain biking, undersea walk, ski (private outing and lesson in the lagoon), banana ride, tennis (lessons, rental of equipment and balls).

For Entertainment: The discotheque “ L’Aquarius ” will allow the night birds to prolong the evening, from midnight to 2 o’clock in the morning.

The mini-club - Looks after children aged between 3 and 12 years from 9.00 am to 21h00 in a Mauritian house especially dedicated to them. They have at their disposal a playground, a swing under the filaos trees and a drawing room. There is also a daily program of activities including boat trips, beach games, video games and film projection.
The Teens club -  Looks after teenagers from 12 to 18 years. A minimum of 5 teenagers is required. The entertainment team organizes for them boat outings, tennis tournaments and beach football. Night entertainment is also proposed depending on the number.

It is also possible to get married at the Ambre Resort & Spa - The ceremony will take place (upon request and on supplement) either in the gardens of the hotel or in the middle of the lagoon, on a pontoon specially decorated for the occasion… Marvellously romantic ! Theme days are gleeful days throughout – musical entertainment, exhibition and cultural shows.
