Le Canonnier is one of the most popular family resorts in Mauritius. Located on a sheltered peninsula at the northern tip of Mauritius, Le Canonnier enjoys breathtaking views of the nearby islets. In the magnificent gardens, you will find relics of a bygone era including an ancient lighthouse and the vestiges of a fortress. A broad re-design project in 2005 has resulted in the transformation of the resort into a trendy and fashionable 4-star property while still preserving its unique feel.

Land Sports - Le Canonnier offers a whole range of complimentary land sports including tennis (3 floodlit courts), table tennis, volley-ball, mountain biking, Bocciball, yoga,  archery and pool. Water Sports - Le Canonnier also offers a range of complimentary water sports and facilities including water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaks, pedal boats, glass-bottom boats, initiation to scuba diving in the pool, scuba diving, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing and aquagym. Please note - All sports are free of charge except scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, mountain biking, billiard and tennis.

Entertainment - Every night, the free entertainment programme features a different act ranging from live bands to theme nights…Live music, shows and folkloric dances will immerse you in local, Indian or Latin cultures Bring your dancing shoes along for dinner at Le Navigator and dance the night away as from 11.30 p.m. the restaurant transforms into a disco.

Spa - Built amidst the branches of a banyan tree, Le Canonnier’s Wellness and Massage Centre is truly unique in Mauritius. Stone steps lead to five rustic wood cabins with thatched roofs that are equipped with outdoor showers. A unique timeless escape.
Mini Club - Each Beachcomber hotel offers a free Bob Marlin mini-club that provides a range of activities that will appeal to your children. Open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the mini-club is reserved for children aged 3 to 12.
