There are a host of hotels in Orlando that provide you with a close proximity to Disney World. Most will boast about being within a few mile radius of the theme parks or being a short shuttle bus away. The Royal Plaza is a bit different, it’s located right inside the Walt Disney World Resort and so guests can enjoy all the benefits that entails.

These include free buses to all surrounding Disney related parks, priority seating at theme park restaurants and Disney shows and, for the golf lovers among you, you also get your pick of tee times at all four Disney championship golf courses.

The resort itself is a 394-room hotel with 18,500 square feet of meeting room space available that includes two ballrooms and a 5,000 square foot courtyard outside.

Away from the theme park, the hotel also offers guests a wide variety of facilities, such as an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, a babysitting service, four tennis courts and a fitness centre. For those looking for a souvenir of their Disney themed trip you can buy one in the Disney Gift Shop which is also on-site.
