Universal Portofino Resort Overview

The Italian fishing village Portofino inspired the Universal Portifino Resort, which explains the amazing architecture that includes enormous columns, domed ceilings and other Mediterranean and Italian themed furnishings. It’s the perfect place for families who want to be close to the action, but still want to enjoy a more chilled vibe than what can be found at the other hotels around the resort. As well as being close to the Universal Parks, there is complimentary transportation available to take you to SeaWorld and Wet ‘n Wild.

This destination features three different themed swimming pools, one of which being the signature zero-entry beach pool with its roman aqueduct slide, a children’s pool, a cold plunge tub, an arcade room and much more. As for the adults there is the 12,300 sq ft. Mandara Spa and the fully equipped fitness centre. There are supervised childcare services available to let mum and dad have some time alone, perhaps for a romantic Italian meal or a trip down to the Universal City Walk.
