The Holiday Inn Sunspree is located on a thousand feet of Clearwater Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool as well as a separate children’s wading pool. Also on site are a spa tub, fitness center, and a putting green. Cabanas and personal watercraft can be rented at the water sports kiosk. The 95-acre Sand Key Park, located less than one mile south of the resort, has beach and park areas with picnic shelters, grills, playground, dog park, and restroom. The beach area has cabana rentals, beach wheelchairs, outdoor showers, nine boardwalks to the beach, and bathhouses. Heron, roseate spoonbills, great horned owls, and other creatures visit regularly. A lifeguard is on duty during the day.
