Don Cesar Beach Resort Overview
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Don Cesar Beach Resort, also known as the "Pink Palace", was opened in 1928, and although renovated, it preserves the character envisioned by its creator. Today, the resort draws both vacationers and business guests. A sweeping, elevated driveway leads to a reception lobby where bell staff in crisp blue Bermuda shorts and epilated white shirts help guests to the reception area. The colonnaded lobby arcade houses a grand piano and intimate seating areas. The Don Cesar Beach Resort offers two outdoor swimming pools, one with underwater sound system; beach sports, and numerous dining options. A children's program is available for a surcharge, and palm trees shade a playground. A full-service health spa, beauty salon, large fitness center, and shopping arcade are also on site, along with a business center. Wireless Internet access is available throughout public spaces and in guestrooms.
